It's because it doesn't have the impact and it doesn't regenerate but I prefer patience and time. It's just a lot more fun to use and waiting for icebreaker to regenerate ammo is annoying most of the time

I am more against the recoil if anything.

That's a big problem with me too. I also have black hammer so when used in correct situations you never have to reload or wait for ammo regen.

Oh yea, Black Hammer is overall my favorite sniper

I switch between my longbow synthesis for just the normal enemy waves and then to black hammer for the bosses where you can get multiple critical hits on one target. You never run out of ammo
