Huh. I see Warren Buffet is an alumnus and. Wait. You're not Warren Buffet are you? If you are, please spare a million or two for a deserving, hm, orphan, yeah that's it. Interesting that they are undergoing an image change. Though if it is anything less than full-on "Animal House" I shall be very disappointed.

 • <_< >_>
Who told you my secrets?!
Seriously though, no Animal House here. Some people don't like what fraternities have become, and want others to see fraternities as respectable organizations like before. :D

 • And the retreat is part of that effort?

 • Actually, yes. Everyone gets to get away from it all (we went to the mountains), and we relaxed and talked about how we can improve the fraternity for the future. Plus, it was a dry event.

 • Interesting how attitudes on drugs and alcohol are changing. On the one hand, I think people are becoming more open to the idea of recreational drug use. On the other, it seems to be less of a fixation; people can take it or leave it. On the whole, I think this might be a healthier approach than my generation's hypocritical "say no to drugs while going on a bender every weekend" habit. Maybe reforming fraternities is part of this shift in attitudes?

 • Perhaps. It might help the college image as a whole as well. We'll have to see though!
