Hate Against Kids (Rant)
Hello I am a [u]13 year old[/u] gamer and I play [b]Destiny[/b]. When I join someone or go on [b]raids [/b]I am Called "[i]Squeaker[/i]".
I am apparently someone to laugh at and abuse for being [u]2 years[/u] younger then another person. About 1 in 15 people are nice and don't care. When I need help with a Raid I invite people and ask people for help, then I am abused because I am [u]13 [/u]and have a voice that is kind of high.
I play with[u] 6-9 year old's[/u] if they need help... most other people just bully them and ruin the experience of Communication on this awesome [b]MMO[/b]. I love [b]Destiny [/b]it is fascinating and enjoyable... but about [b]70%[/b] of the community are bullies towards "Little Kids". If you don't want to play with someone because they have a voice that you absolutely can't stand, don't be a Bully just say "Sorry I really don't want to do this... I want to do other things" as appose to hurting feelings and being a dick.
You were a kid once whats wrong with it?
If they are screaming in the microphone and being really Annoying then give them a chance tell them your gonna kick them if they keep going, then if they keep going don't retaliate just be chill and say "Hey you had your warning... sorry your being kicked".
The thread is about people being bullies after they say a few words in a high voice. Also if they try to be funny don't laugh and say that wasn't really that funny try something else. About 4 years ago I got Xbox with COD and I did these things to so I can understand why people gave them this reputation. I feel it should be changed a little bit. Fighting fire with fire never works out it's just a waste of time.
If this is changed I would think [b]Destiny [/b]would be more inviting and people under [u]14 [/u] would enjoy it a lot more!
Also shut up about ratings. Look at the movies people sneak in all the time your not gonna stop anything.
In Australia you are allowed to play it so you can't say crap about kids from Aussie. Think of something without involving ratings or do you need to rely on them?

23 RepliesMy kids arent allowed on video games until they can drive. Maturity for one. And I want them to explore life. That said, I let my oldest patrol sometimes for a few minutes. My oldest would rather kill and skin a deer than play a video game, which I think is pretty cool.

Yeah squeakers are annoying but only when they won't shut up I've played with a 13 year old and he was so mature and sounded so mature I thought he was 18 like me its all about how you act

I have nothing against playing with kids, I would just prefer to play with adults. Part of playing games is also finding like-minded individuals to talk to. I have nothing to talk about with a 13 year old, I'm simply too old to relate.

Talk about your array of weaponry or another game. I don't want in invited friends coming in talking about your mum or any other subject. I want to gear up and finish the task at hand with no cheesy ass bs or glitching. If a kid cannot be a team player in a fire team that already has a leader they are not welcome and will be booted as will any teen. Post teen or adult. With that said I have rolled with ages9-65 in many fire teams

Not a reflection on you, but there's only so much unnecessary cursing and "i fuked your mom" lines I can take. It's not cute and it doesn't help their case. Ill help whenf you don't brag about yourself being a god at this game when quite clearly you suck more than Matrix Revolutions.

It's not that I hate kids per say, it's that I don't like being ordered around by someone when I know what I am doing. Other then that I still play with them

Behavior works both ways, I don't play with the younger kids 90% of the time simply because it becomes an exercise in babysitting I don't get paid for during the times I choose to be relaxing killing dudes and aliens. Same vein, I don't play with adults that act in a similar fashion whom very clearly can't take care of themselves. But the adult population has way more people I have positive experiences with than the younger population, especially kids just hitting puberty like yourself or kids young enough (6-9) that are not even mature enough yet to choose their own brand of cereal. Keep it in mind kid and when you get older you will see the difference.

5 RepliesTop 3. reasons why squeekers get hate 3. Your party chat will be instantly clogged with other random kids that come I talking over everyone else. This is one of the worst. I get that it's a social thing but your party has no boundaries. It's not your fault per say, however it's really annoying. Jibber jabber to the extreme. I just want to raid the vault. Sometimes others joining the party will tell you to kick someone from the fire team so they can join. Lol 2. A lot of squeekers are Bossy as hell. They will inspect your guardian while they're dead at ir yut and tell you how everything your doing is wrong or your using the wrong weapons. Meanwhile they're lifeless ghost sits there as you bag the hell out of it. 1. Just to emotional over the game in general. Squeekers and teen squeekers will kick you at skolas Rage quit out of a raid and scream bloody murder in your ear. It's terrifying when you don't see it coming and possibly causing hearing damage. Listen kid your voice is in my ears stop yelling seriously. Chill out. All that being said I have a few vetted squeekers I don't mind running various tasks in game play. I've never bullied anyone I give them a chance Hell 9 out of 10 times if I join an lfg group and its squeekers you have two minutes to prove to me why I shouldn't quit. The point is just have fun playing. Don't shame people treat others with a little respect And avoid the things I mentioned above and people will help you. Maybe avoid the hateful teen groups that are on as well Good luck

When it comes to online first person shooters children are always annoying, especially when all your dumb friends joining party and don't stop talking. When I have kids I'm def not letting them game until they are 18 at least.

I'm 12 and I have never been called sqeaker, however after reading some comments I have to say some People are right about kids. First of all, yes most of us freak out easily and are very bossy. Second, we do areas the word to our friends a lot (I have no idea why). I really don't find it fair, we don't get good treatment. Some of us are actually very good like my friend for example, he's 13 and semi pro in cod. Some jerks just gotta suck it up because kids can play video games to!!!
