I am eagerly awaiting the release of the remastered Scholar of the First Sin. And i'm wondering what kind of run i should do when i finally get the game. I am not new to the games whatsoever, i simply can't decide what kind of playthrough to do this time. Any suggestions?
If you choose strength or dexterity please let me know what weapon you think i should go for. Like i said, i'm not new to this. Just want help deciding over the massive amount of possible playthroughs i could do. Thanks!

Boxing Dandy Build Manly Muscular Man Manly as FÛCK mustache No Shirt Heavy armor gloves and boots Bandit Starting Class because only Gutter trash can comprehend what it means to be a true gentleman 30 Vigor because a valiant boxer knows never to back down until the final bell tolls 20 Endurance because a smart boxer knows where to expend his strength 30 Vitality because the belt of a Champion is heavy indeed 2 Attunement because we were raised to solve problems with our fists, not simple parlor tricks 40 Str so that we can sting like bees 40 Dex so that we can float like butterflies 30 Adp FO DOSE I-FRAMES BAYBEEEEE 3 Int so Straid will talk to us 8 Fth so we can believe in ourselves in this godless land Final level: 150 Weapons: Punchy and Fisty (+10 Caestus) Armor (Havel's Gloves and Legs or any heavy equivalent until you get that)

Hexes are boring (My opinion) Archery FTW
-
Hexes are overpowered, that's why I kill myself every time I get invaded by a person who wields it...actually...most times they kill me before I can kill myself.

Some truth from a player with over 500 hours invested. I've done multiple okay throughs with each type. Pyromancy is more of a supplement. Not a great option for a pure run through. Could be fun though. Strength is very easy once you learn how to dive roll. God, it makes the game so easy. Grab the greatsword and you can wreck every boss in seconds. Dex is the most fun for me. Feels very balanced, and you get to use all the sexy weapons! Katanas FTW! I enjoy dex the most, even though they're not what they used to be (compared to Dark Souls 1). Magic is very tough to start with if you're doing a pure run (without a weapon to supplement your damage). That being said, hexes are broken overpowered. I mean completely broken. Dark Orb for mobs and Great Resonant Soul for bosses. It's ridiculous how easy the end game bosses are as a magic/hex build. Also, a buffed Katana dex/hex build will faceroll everything in the game.

Strength, and you forgot miracles, tank sunbro for life
-
Bloodborne bro. Bloodborne .
-
So Stronk
-
Dual wield is life
-
I did a dex playthrough the last time, and used a lot of weapons that I had previously ignored, like spears, whips, daggers, curved swords, etc.
-
Hex are overpowered. Crypt greatsword + great resonant weapon = 2 shotting bosses
-
Go straight strength with 2 Demons Hammers!!!
-
I'll probably start a dual wield power stance build with secondary pyromancies. It's probably gonna be a quality build with well-rounded stats but high dex.
-
When DS2 comes out I'm going to try a Dex build, just for the lols

-
Do as I did my first play! Wanderer set. Dual long swords. Long bow Throwing knives Win
-
I think i'm leaning towards either archery or running with the drangleic sword in a strength based build. Never used that sword for a run yet
-
Starting class as a knight. (Unless you're using magic). I've seen that the high starting strength and vitality will save you from many a death until you get quite far into the game. Secondly, upgrade stamina and dexterity, because those are super helpful too.
-
Everyone will most likely go for strength or dex because it's the easiest. Go archery and get a challenge
-
Zweihander (spelling)

I started out as a sorcerer with intelligence/attunement build. I'd put some points in vigor, endurance and vitality. Then after multiple ng+ I'd sink points in strength/dexterity. That way, I ended up well rounded. Some bosses, I wanted to stay as far from them as I could. I'd use magic. Others I liked a sword.
-
Idk why everyone hates on Dex so much lol i remember running dark souls with a scythe and lots of dex. Far reach and fast attacks. I don't see why it has a worse rep than hexes lol
-
Am I the only one who likes Dex builds? But in reality, a good mix it of Strength/Dexterity is really good. Plus a LOT of Vitality.
-
Lots of hype for SOTFS. I think I'll stick with a strength build.

Anything but dex
