Scrota's end- Lamp Run
Have they patched the exploit where you jump to the ledge from the rock at the second lamp? I know they patched it so you can't use the lamps blast to get you to the ledge. I'm a titan and can't get high enough to reach it. It's like there is an invisible barrier that shuts down my boost.
Ok. Figured it out. It seems it was my jumping technique. I found I had to do a quick double jump (rapidly double press the jump button). I usually jump, gain height, then press jump again once I reach the apex.
One weird thing happened once I was at the bridge. I was waiting for the Troll to appear in the distance to take him out when he spawns behind me and kills me. Did it again, and this time he appeared where he was supposed to. Took him out and crossed the bridge. Yea for team Titan.

Yes you can. Warlocks and Titans I know can but I don't have a Hunter. You can also still jump across the bridge.

Unless an invisible wall is placed along where you are able to make the jump OR Double jumping is completly disabled even with 0 weight of darkness this will always be doable.

3 RepliesIt still works. Just did it yesterday on my Titan. You gotta put your agility way up and get a small running start. And make sure you're using the perk for more lift. Also try holding a weapon that grants more agility like the vex or icebreaker.

Titans can jump to the ledge: make sure all your perks are on speed/agility; highest jump perk - not the one with 'more control' equip a weapon with 2+ agility double jump, then 'sprint' forward (in air) to ledge - eazy peezy. It also seems to help if you have an Eris class item equipped...have no idea why. And...make sure there is no 'weight of darkness' when you jump; lamps don't explode until 20 seconds after activation so there's always plenty of time. Good luck!

still doable with 3 characters , Titan is the easy one! is not a wall is the weight of the darkness, you jump to late

Still works. Watched someone do it yesterday as it was quicker than me soloing the lamps on my hunter (I do it the old fashioned way and actually run the lamps).
