Okay, I'll keep this as to-the-point as I can. I'll break it up so it will be as simple and helpful as possible. [b][u]The Good[/u][/b] + Notifications and follow system are nice. I like the easy access given to us by the new bar. + Embedding links, videos, and images. YES. + Being able to open group threads to the public forum. This is a cool feature that will probably help in gamenights, etc. + Helpful buttons during posting. (quote, link, etc.) + Multi sign-ins. This works awesomely. + Homepage looks amazing. Very clean and easy to navigate. + User quickbar --that thing that pops up when you click on a user's avatar-- is cool. Clean and simple. [b][u]The Bad[/u][/b] -- White background. Bad. The gray one is better IMO. Less straining on the eyes and matches the rest of the site better. -- Posting in threads. Frankly, it feels backwards and confusing. The old way of posts decending from oldest to newest feels much easier to read, and much, much cleaner in terms of the look of the site. -- One forum alone. Bad. I know the tags are there to filter out areas, but that's not perfect, not even close. People won't use them which could diminish discussion, and it looks very messy. -- Overall organization of the forum. Where is the pinned topics? Top forum topics? I feel these should be here, and still in our faces like the older forum. -- Titles are gone. Yes, I know they will be returning but for now it's still a minus on the beta. -- Group mods seem to have lost powers. Is this a bug? Implemented on purpose? Or can this be fixed already? (IDK, I just haven't seen any mods in groups.) This is related to titles being gone, I'm guessing. [b][u]The Feedback[/u][/b] * Return to the darker color scheme. It strains the eyes less, and that's important when I wanna be here all the time. * Re-separate the forums, but keep tags. Tags are useful for quick filtering and are often funny. (#yorkie) Overall this will improve organization and make the topics feel much less random. * Change the reply system back to the old configuration by default, but make it possible to change the order of replies with a dropdown bar. This way we can see stuff the way we want to. (Ex: descending, ascending, most popular, etc.) * Make individual posts look more important. Title bars and large avatars helped differentiate different posts from one-another, but now it feels like an endless feed that is a chore to read. Perhaps outline boxes around posts would help? IDK. Title bars worked well. I think those should return. * Make profile themes more prominent. They look out of place when they are cut off by large white boxes on your profile.
