'Alpha' is incorrect. It's actually 'Alfa'.
At least in the miliary use of it. The official NATO phonetic alphabet spells it as "Alfa", and "Juliet" as "Juliett".
This means every video game and movie with subtitles ever has gotten it wrong.

I always thought it was like the difference between 'color' and 'colour,' both are correct depending on where you're from.
