I'm starting to get a different idea from all of this. It's been stewing in my mind now for awhile. Bungie enthusiastically pointed out that they've had, what now, 16 updates with more on the way? Those patch notes would be pretty sparse without all the gobbledegook about weapons being tweaked so often. Pretty sparse indeed. Get where I'm going with this? That being said, most things in this game appear designed to artificially increase play time. An old argument, I know. So... how to increase it further? You like using a specific gun in PVE/PVP? The balancing was just changed. Learn how to use something else. Pulse rifles are great now, and you don't have one? Grind out the marks to get one, then grind out the bounties to upgrade it. Yes they needed the buff, but you get what I'm saying. Just food for thought. Perhaps just an "unexpected" benefit from making the game "better?"
