Remember that pathetic gun called the "Stranger's Rifle"? Well, anyone who has played much crucible since 1.1.1 went live knows pulse rifles got some love, and this one in particular will take you out like a "pre-nerfed Suros Regime" on crack!
I just want to highlight the obvious over-correction Bungie made when balancing the weapons in PVP. Don't get me wrong, I think Bungie is on the right track (however frustrating it is to endure) in their efforts to make more guns relevant, but I do believe that in this latest "adjustment" Bungie has inadvertently caused many other well-loved guns to become nearly obsolete.
Here's to hoping release 1.1.2 will bring pulse rifles back from the stratosphere, down to a comfortable cruising altitude.

There isnt an option for supers..... Mind putting it up?
-
Hand Cannons, Thorn mostly.

Red death

Where's the Hand Cannon option?

And people on the forums keep trying to act like shotguns aren't a problem still. Jesus fućking Christ. I don't think it's necessarily shotguns by themselves though. It's just the blink/shotgun combo, or someone getting a shotgun with perks like knee pads, or hunters sing the ability to slide further. Some of the abilities/perk rolls is what's breaking the PVP. It's very possible to counter some of the weapons people say are OP and stuff. But when someone blinks towards/over you with a shotgun, you pretty much can't do shit. Same with someone that has knee pads and is sliding at you 50 mph with range finder and/or shot package. It's pretty much a confirmed kill no matter what you do.

Shotguns, suros and the occasional sniper or corner camping fusion rifle.

You didn't put the Hand cannons on there? This poll is invalid. It goes: #1 most killed by Thorn, TLW, Hawkmoon #2 Felwinter's, two to, hand shake #3 tracking rockets/ heavy #4 Gold gun/ arc blade #5 Pulse riffles. Pulse riffle are not as good as you seem to think they are and they can't even play effectively on every map. If bungie hadn't messed up the auto riffle nerf so hard it would be ok.
-
Still thorn/tlw.
-
The Bad Ju Ju isint to bad either
-
I don't play crucible that much but when I do it definitely seems like the shotgun has some pretty killer range. I don't use shotguns by when I come across someone who does, I run in the other direction
-
Felwinter's Lie seems to have avoided the nerf
-
You know thos posting will lead to a complete shotty removal from the game? At least if bungie still listens to the crybabies
-
Lol ever since 1.1.1 crucible is just shotguns. Even the votes see that. Gets annoying sometimes but whatever

Edited by Revan_Jager: 3/7/2015 8:54:31 AMHonestly I'm comfortable with any weapon class in the game hand cannons too shotguns pulse rifles too snipers it doesn't matter how they change the game in my opinion whatever they buff I'll just switch to that class and continue to annihilate in PvP I really think people focus too much on whats op instead of being flexible and being able to use more than one type of gun I know people who once they got the vex only use the VEX in PvP never used anything else same thing with the last word and the invective learn to use other guns people in any game you play there will always be one or two guns maybe a class that is more powerful than another learn use them or continue to be killed by them and have a bad time its up to you personally I prefer to go with the flow and have a good time and get a bunch of kills but that's just me
-
I like shotguns because I have a good one.
-
I mean hand cannons but without that option I guess pulse
-
I would say for me its been auto rifles and sniper rifles. I'm being lit up be uncommon auto rifles and one shot killed with uncommon snipers. Pretty bad since they seem to have nerfed some of the exotics.

Suros

I also realize this poll may not accurately highlight my intent since many players may have not played much Crucible since 1.1.1 went live.
