what is the origin of the word "scrub?"
before I started playing this game, all I ever heard was noob, but now all I hear is scrub, so I'm just curious of the origin of it and how it came to take over.

2 RepliesLate 16th Century German/Dutch, meaning "a mean, insignificant fellow". It became popular in English because "scrubbing" ships was the job of the lowest enlisted man, and they were called "scrubs".
