So, I'm sitting here in a park on my lunch break that reminds me of a place I used to camp, which got me reminiscent. I started to think about my experiences, some of which were kinda creepy, but honestly not worth mentioning.
It did get me wondering though, the woods are still a pretty creepy place, especially at night; some people must have some semi - decent stories to tell. So if you do, this is the place to post them!

I was chased through the woods by a rapist. Then I pull out my dick and did a helicopter motion and ascended into stars. I looked down to see a single tear trickle down his vacant face.

The time when I was camping with my family over the Fourth of July. I had been working a flea market with my dad and brother while our mom, sisters and other brother went to do stuff around town. It was late at night and I was sitting next to the fire stretched out in a chair looking up at the stars. I heard a few branches break and I passed it off. A few minutes later I sit normally and look at the fire, my brother was sitting across the fire and our mom at the table drinking a small bit of beer. I look down at my shoes and then over to my side, to my surprise I see a raccoon, just sittin there right next to me. It was creepy, I just sat there and was like what the -blam!- this is awesome. Anyways it stayed like that for a few minutes till I got up to go to sleep. It ran off and I never saw my friend ever again.

Went camping in the smoky mountains a couple times. In a part of the park that was purchased in the 50s, there are a bunch of old cabins/houses/resort homes that were just left to rot once their owners either died or left. The govt allowed the people to stay as long as they wanted, but no one could own the homes after them. So they just sit there, rotting away. We went into one (totally not trespassing or unsafe in any way). There was an old piano, and furniture, and there were clothes hanging in the closet. They had obviously been there a while. It was creepy, but rather pretty at the same time. It certainly made for a scenic hike. I just wish I had a better camera at the time. :(
