has anyone hit destiny burnout...
I feel like I'm missing something I feel the game stopped being my favorite thing to do. I almost feel drained, I don't know how to describe it. Has anyone else felt this as of recently, I don't know what it is? Its eating me away inside trying to reason with it. This is probably a pretty stupid post but I feel as though it needs to be said anyway.
I enjoy this game quite a lot actually but, somewhere down the road something in me broke, I lead a clan I raid every week I do my roc strikes and play a little crucible, I partake in iron banner and do pretty good as well. My determination is set I have one of each character class type and have the ability to reach 32 on them all, but I'm left asking my self now what?
I've collected some of the best exotics in the game and I'm only a few away from owning them all but I feel something is missing. What am I supposed to do, what am I supposed to feel I've lost the obligation to continue the carrot is no longer there to keep me on the treadmill...
all I am left with is the feeling of defeat.....

Yes. But I love playing and can't stop. Plus I don't have the things I want yet... More reason to play

I can probably get that done by mid April. Then I gotta level my weapons which is so annoying. I just dismantle all my new legendaries now so I don't get overwhelmed at how much grinding I gotta do to get each individual weapon maxed, and then I gotta farm glimmer and it's just ridic. I pray HoW doesn't screw us over again like TDB did

8 RepliesIve been burnt for a while. I played iron banner got to lvl5 and haven't played since. Ive had 3 lvl 32s since week 3 of tdb. It sucks cuz other games even have less game play and time. I beat already dying light. Im playing the new dbz zenoverse but alreafy half way through. Im considering plugging in the old ps1 and playing some final fantasy 7 or the snes and playing ff3

4 RepliesI'm just taking a break. I beat gta5, ryse, and am working on acu, cod and play titanfall with my buddies. It's nice to mix it up. Not bashing anything here, just saying what I've been playing for the past month or 2. I'm still excited for how.

5 RepliesYea I'm getting burnt out I have 32s with several ways to get to 32 all but red death and 3 exotic armor to go so I get on do the nightfall raid and sometimes the weekly until the next DLC drops it's warframe taking up most of my playing time

Got all 32s, H/W/T, Awoken/Human/3xo, N.Monarchy/FWC/DeadOrb; Grimoire >> 2700 I still play... However, I'm slowing down day by day. I'll do NF, weeklies, and MAYBE raids (if the group ain't nooblets). Since I've drained the PvE in Destiny, I'm starting to find me more in the Crucible, sniping mofockas!!!

I've burnt out several times since its release. I'll take a break from it and then come back to get addicted again.

For weeks now I log on once or twice a week do the night fall and the weekly and log off. I only have one character no idea how you guys have the patience for 3 I have a level 9 warlock with zero motivation to level him lol

i feel the same.i love the game and will still do the raid once a week but its a break well needed and will hopefully make house of wolves more exciting when it hits :)

1 ReplyI try to log on at least once per day, but lately when I log on I've only done everything half-assedly. I'm passing on a lot of bounties, skipping dailies, skipped weeklies last week for the first time since I started playing. . . There are days where I'll load up the game and stare at the orbit screen for a bit, then just say "Nah" and turn it off. Sometimes I'll find something new to do, but that happens so infrequently anymore that I often wonder why I'm even still playing.

C'mon these forums are more interesting than the game itself, it's sad that a game that was supposed to be social, can't seem to present that in game. Every time I load up destiny I'll end up going in for about 10 minutes, than the desire to continue playing vanishes. This game is cornflakes. Plain, it's sort of like nasty oatmeal.

I burned out and got my second wind all within about a week. Go watch someone open 50 legendary engrams and 10 exotics (Mesa Has some videos like that) and you'll want to open some too.

I'll do the reset eg. Nightfalls, crota raid, vog raid, mostly heroics. After that not much to keep me playing.

I feel you on this man...I loved playing this game, but I can honestly say I haven't played it in 2 weeks...I've been having too much fun on xenoverse now to worry about if I get a raid or nightfall done

Well just got my last exotic today. Was feeling a bit burned out before, but a few minutes after I got it I realized I have nothing to do in the game. (Except raise my grimoire I guess)

Every time I'm about ready to take a long break I get an exotic. First time I got Suros, second time Gjallahorn, and today I got The Last Word...I keep getting reeled back in lol
