Auto Rifles...
A poll is well... A poll.
What do you feel should happen or shouldn't happen to auto rifles?
What was your favorite auto rifle pre-patch?

To answer my own questions I personally loved my Vanquisher VIII but now it's umm, shit to be honest and I feel that we need to "bring them back!"
Edit: For record purposes this is referring to the auto rifle nerf issued in the 1.1.1 patch.
Edit 2: despite the nerf I am still on the hunt for a Suros Regime!
Edit 3: I don't think this is the end to auto rifles. I think this will be the beginning of a long nerf/buff cycle.

They're the lowest tier class of primaries now XD They did more alterations than bungie thought they did to weapon classes. My guess is BAD testing feedback from ppl with biased gun class preferences.

2 RepliesI think they should have adjusted them like they did shotguns. Reduce their range and compensate by increasing PVE damage. I bet there would be a lot less complaining and still achieve the desired outcome

I think they over nerfed it. Just put back half or 3/4 of the damage reduction back

5 RepliesBring them back for sure, their meant to be powerful in a firefight not completely worthless. A rock would do more damage than an after patch auto rifle, solid mistake bungie please rethink that one.

Edited by VoodooN88: 3/3/2015 5:50:19 PMI didn't use the Suros pre patch.. But the ARs in general were fine pre patch. I feel like the were nerfed in order to make players use pulse rifles. I like pulse rifles in pve..But not PvP Nothing is going to change that. I'll use a fusion rifle before pulse..even after the patch. So I guess it didn't get nerfed enough.

Auto rifles are pretty much useless now. I'm glad I finished my Thorn bounty with Atheon's Epilogue before the patch! I rerolled my Silimar's Wrath and that was probably the worst idea ever. What a waste of Motes...! P.S.: I still want SUROS Bungiez plz gimme!
