What I would like there to be in Destiny.

What I would like to have in Destiny that I would love, is Stealth. We have some stealth based weapons and stats, Blade Dancer, and Patience and Time, but those aren't very stealthy as they should be. Let's look at some stealthy games, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, and Call of Duty 4 and MW2 all have excellent executions of stealth missions. Splinter Cell has the player posses sound suppressed weapons, with Night Vision, Thermal Vision, and EMF Vision. Call of Duty has Ghillie suits, sound suppressed weapons, night vision, thermal scopes, and heart beat sensors. Now how do we add stealth builds to Destiny? Well people have been wanting the Gunsmith to have more uses so how about this? Have the gunsmith sell sound suppressors, and thermal scopes. It would cost glimmer AND weapon parts. Not only will this make things interesting by allowing players to make a stealth build for their characters it'll also bring the Gunsmith back into business, poor guy is probably about to go out of business. Let's also force players to try out this feature by making some missions that require the player to take a stealthy approach. Destiny so far has been, RUN IN GUNS BLAZING!!! Although there's nothing wrong with that, it can get tiring especially if the game requires us to replay some missions. To make it simple- *Have the Gunsmith sell sound suppressors for all weapons except Shotguns, and Heavy weapons. Cost: Glimmer and Weapon Parts. *Add Stealth based missions to make things interesting.

  • I like the idea of adding more ways to play but adding tacticool accessories is just plain counterproductive. There is already a stealth class and that is Blade Dancer. I could see mission design requiring you to sneak around like the Gorgons but adding stupid gadgets to guns is not a good idea. Destiny has a far bit of influence from older non military shooters like Halo and even elements from 1990s but beyond the way guns handle it has very little in common with the Modern Military First Person Shooter.
