Timers on Crota's End boss fight

The Sword Some people may believe that the timer on the sword begins when you kill the swordbearer. This is not the case. Yes there is a timer on how long the sword will be available (i believe its around 1 minute), but the real timer begins when you pick it up. Once you do, it will be available for 30 seconds. During this time, a music will play. You can control how long you have by memorising the music - the sword will despawn when the music ends. (Most sword carriers out there should already know this but some may not, and this may be helpful to know when you still have time for another go at Crota) Crota Once Crota's shield is downed, he will kneel for 5 seconds. Once Crota stands back up, he will have an aura of invincibility for another 5 seconds. (This is why we count down from 3 once he gets up before firing) Crota spends 1 minute on each location befor rotating. He will not move while downed, nor (i think) while he has the aura if invincibility. This rotation starts when you step outside the doors. Crota will enrage 10 minutes from the time you activate the crystal (unconfirmed). Sword runs So each run at Crota should be something like this: Sword pickup - 30 second timer starts - (time to get to Crota and shoot him down - x seconds) - Kneel - 5 seconds - Invincibility - 5 seconds - Shoot again (x seconds) - Kneel - 5 seconds Most sword runs will end here as the time to reach Crota and shoot him down the second time should be around 10-15 seconds. In order to do a third run with the sword things need have to go something like this: - Sword pickup - 30 second timer starts - Reaching Crota and getting him down - no more than 2/3/4 seconds - Kneel - 5 seconds (total 7/8 seconds) - Invincibility - 5 seconds. (total 12/13/14 seconds) - Shoot Crota down again - must not take longer than 2 seconds after invincibility wears off (total 14/15/16 seconds) - Kneel - 5 seconds (total 19/20/21 seconds) - Invincibility - 5 seconds (total 24/25/26 seconds) - Shoot Crota down again - must not take longer than 2 seconds after invincibility wears off (total 26/27/28 seconds) Which leaves about 2/3/4 seconds to deal damage before the sword despawns, depending on how fast you were able to do the other stuff. Necessary conclusions: A hunter using invisibility before going up to Crota the first time will most likely not have time to get him 3 times because of the time it takes to activate invisibility (about 2 seconds). If the sword is dropped anywhere else other that right next to the access points to Crota (meaning the sword carrier will take a few seconds to reach him) this will also mean 3 runs with the sword will not be possible. Try 3 runs with the sword only if you are confident that you have enough time. If you try to force it, you'll end up risking yourself and losing precious heavy ammo from the DPS team. Hope this is somewhat helpful.
