Havn't the Stormtroopers always been black guys? I mean if Stormtroopers were just new Clone troopers but still clones of Jango Fett (Temuera Derek Morrison) in the movies, then they've always been black guys

Actually. Clone production halted after the end of the Clone Wars. The Emperor started enlisting real peaople (humans only... Racist) for Stormtroopers. The remaining clones just died off in battle. If you want an explanation as to why the emperor did this, play Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II.

  • If it was humans only, would the Empire be called xenophobes and not racist?

  • Because he enlisted, Storm Troopers aren't clones anymore. Some of the clones from the clone wars were enrolled into the Storm Trooper ranks but they quickly turned into commandos. People were able sign up to join the empire since New Hope.
