I think pve and pvp should receive separate buffs/nerfs as they are required.
AR- auto rifle. SG - shotgun. PR- pulse rifle. HC - hand cannon.
Pvp used a lot of AR
Pve not so much
AR nerf all round
Pvp used a lot of SG
Pve SG never used
Pve got SG buff but pvp got no love
Pvp used little or no PR
Pve used little PR
PR super buff all round
Pvp used a lot of HC
pve used a little HC
HC receive pvp nerf but little change in pve
That all just proves that bungie CAN buff/nerf separately so all weapon changes SHOULD(in my opinion) be done separately.
Why change AR in pvp when they seemed to be working fine.
Why change SG in pve nobody used them.
But I think we can all agree PR needed a massive buff. So thank you for that.
Tldr. Buffs and nerfs should be separate for pve and pvp.
You can't expect to shoot a guardian the same way as you shoot a dreg.

I don't thin ARs actually shoot bullets anymore after the nerf. Too many hits to kill I'm gonna use a different weapon Bungie has succeeded. Within a year we will have been forced to try every weapon and then they will have all the setups needed for destiny 2. Only thing I can think of as to why they made some of the changes they did. They want us to try different weapons. I don't think they want everyone using the same weapon , they want a mixture. So they need the weapons to be balanced. Are we testing this ? Did bungie not hire game testers? Is this all part of a bigger plan we are yet to realise? When will they stop messing with the guns and just BLOODY FIX THEM??? Too many AR in crucible - let's break them Not enough SG in strikes - let's fix them God I'm getting too deep into it now.
