Oversoul Edict is an unbalanced weapon. With the preposterous about of Aim Assistance it has, its more deadly than Bad Juju.
Legendary weapons that can only be acquired through a Raid should not be tuned to be better than Exotics in PvP activities. They can be godlike in PvE activities and thats all good...
EDIT:
I DONT think Oversoul Edict is the best weapon in PvP
I DONT think Oversoul Edict is OP
I DO think the current arrangement makes OE>Juju which is weird.
I DO think excessive Aim Assistance is cheap
Just feedback, no real emotional attachment to it.

I got 2 ;)

It sucks, it's easy to get. Don't say it is overpowered when your skill in crucible is underpowered.
-
It's far from the best pvp weapon.. In fact compared to red death, thorn or tlw, it kinda sucks
-
Oversoul edict is perfect as it is, stop crying.

The madness will never end every time they patch something you babies are gonna get on here and say something else is op. How about you just get the same weapons they have or practice in pvp to improve your skill so you don't suck. It's. It even a -blam!-ing exotic weapon your bitching about. It's a common drop in hard mode crota first -blam!-ing stage lol. I've gotten over 10 of them. Play the game for what it is and stop bitching so much and enjoy it or leave. I'm tired of it seriously over it. Destiny has turned into a babies bitching party! And if you don't have friends to play with use the forums like everyone else. Plus you can't meet some really cool people and raid with more often not everyone is gonna be a ass like me. Well if your crying about a common dropped gun still then yeah there gonna be like me
-
Why cant you do a raid?
-
Do you have one?
-
How do you know if the aim assist needs tuning down if you don't own the gun? /crymore
-
The oversoul edict drops from the abyss on hard mode. Every class can solo that part. And for hunters it's easy to pull off. Get your skill up and get it yourself stop whining about it.

Then there would be no reason for the raids or for anyone to do them. Get raid weapons from drops, bust them down for energy, boom. You have people with full raid weapons or fully upgraded raid gear in a week versus having to grind for it. MMO means grinding everything for top tier stuff, not playing one mode only. I do agree aim assist should be optional though. I hate it in general. Love to turn it off. For those who have barely any FPS skill, it might be needed but it shouldn't be forced on all of us.
