A brief history lesson because your second edit is bothering me. The word "swastika" comes from the Sanskrit svastika - "su" meaning "good," "asti" meaning "to be," and "ka" as a suffix. The swastika was used by many cultures throughout the past 3,000 years to represent life, sun, power, strength, and good luck. The -godwinslaw!- adopted this symbol, but reversed the direction of its arms. The counter-clockwise version gained popularity among German anti-Semitic groups through the writings of Guido von List and Lanz von Liebenfels, who took the symbol of good fortune and universal harmony, and used it to denote unconquerable Germanic hero. So in other words, they are two separate symbols with two separate meanings.
