Spent 6 months waiting to get Suros, I get it, I'm ecstatic. Then, a week later, Bungie super nerfs it.
I hate whining, but the 14% was WAY over what was needed. They were fine to begin with imo. People just like fully automatic mid range weapons, that's just facts. ARs will always be a fan favorite, but now nobody wants to use them because they lost so much viability. I'm not fanboying for the ARs, because I probably still use a scout more than anything, but I'm so dissapointed in this nerf. I loved everything they did in the most recent updates, EXCEPT for this nerf, as many others would agree with. My SUROS will now probably collect dust in the vault, which I hate because SUROS has always been my favorite gun since release, and I get a week to enjoy it before it gets harshly nerfed.
We ask you Bungie, fix this atrocity and buff back ARs to what they recently were, because they were not OP by any means, they are just good feeling guns that shoot how people want them to, which is why usage is so high. I hope Bungie sees how much usage drops and sees that as an issue. As stated everywhere, people are gonna use what they want to use, so don't think you have to set every weapon "evenly".
Anybody ever heard of a story called Harrison Burgeron? I think it shines alot of light on this. In it, society has decided to take away competition and has basically nerfed people, making smart people wear devices that scatters their thoughts, and talented people lose their thoughts, as to even out the population and take away everybody's skills so everyone felt the same. It better shows just how hurtful trying to "balance" stuff is, because no matter what, 1 weapon/type will always be used more, because it proves to be the most effective. I just hope this situation doesn't end like the story did.....
