If I'm not mistaken, aren't they one in the same? It was my understanding the Graveminds are the "leftovers" from the precursors.

They are not. Precursors came before the forerunners and were faaaar more advanced.

My mistake I thought the original reply said the Flood. I was under the impression that the Flood were the remnants of the Precursors. I understand that the Forerunners and the Precursors were two completely different races.
