85% think that Auto's need a buff, bungie hasn't acknowledged thousands of people. I'm doing what I can to keep up this thread.
THIS IS MORE PVE GEARED THAN ANYTHING ELSE BUFF NON GUARDIAN DAMAGE
85% think Bungie messed up
A Great Video Explaining the Negative Effects brought on by 1.1.1:
http://youtu.be/GMQ_f4NoNVc
Auto's will always be the most popular, people are familiar with them. That's how it goes.
It's not fair you ruin these weapons and make them unenjoyable just because they are popular.
Scouts will become next most popular then you'll nerf those. It's not right.
Edit: I believe pretty strongly in this, I love my Suros, Hardlight and Monte Carlo, sadly they don't live up to there names. Please bump if you agree, I want to have a shot at change (=

Option 2: 1602
Option 3: 2081
Over 10,000 votes requesting a buff. Lets go Bungie!
Major Edit: Appears some are too lazy to actually look at the thread showing the amount of nerf each weapon received, so I will post here, know that these are not my results but another supporter in the community.
Actual % of Nerf
Suros Regime: 14% (Impact Rating: 28)
HardLight: 6-9% dependent on first tree attachments (Impact Rating: 9)
Abyss Defiant: 6.3% (Impact Rating 8)
Monte Carlo: 6.3% (Impact Rating 8)
This is far off the "2.5%" released by Bungievision.
Edit: Greatly appreciating all the support, this is the only way to get Bungie's attention and get our Auto's back! I'd like to invite any Bungie admin/mod/ninja/Deej to pass this on to devs. Need you guys.
Edited title to sound more professional.
Please write bump, amount of replies has a direct correlation to Bungie paying attention.

I think they need to stop nerfing the auto rifles (what is this. Like he 3rd/4th time?) I don't believe Bungie has their priorities straight. They should fix the raids before the weapons
-
I don't understand why Bungievision can't allow different moddifiers for PvE/PvP. Vex weren't crying about auto rifles so why nerf them in the story world? Its really stupid outlook. SUROS was obnoxious in Crucible yes. So just nerf it there. No need to ruin it for people who don't play PvP. My Vanquisher VIII sucks in PvE now. I stopped using it totally. Since it has a smaller magazine I can really tell the difference with it. Much harder to clear a room out now. Bungie needs to stop catering to the PvP crowd everytime someone cries about weapons being OP.

Only auto rifles I ever use are hard light and necrochasm. I find they are so under powered in pve I only use them when bored and weapons don't matter. The necrochasm gun has to the worst exotic out there. No land is bad as well but it's not an über rare raid weapon. So long story short I support the buff in hopes it might make the exotics exciting.

Ther are a lot of different type of weapons and an endless level of perks and damage for each in this game. The devs obviously want us to use different weapons and not stick with what's comfortable to our play style all the time. I very rarely use auto rifles but instead prefer the scout rifles and now that bad juju is somewhat relevant in damage it may just be my weapon of choice (especially on my Lock). They are never going to get them "perfect" and make everyone happy. I have to admit I enjoy swapping up weapons from time to time though and playing with something new. So why not put weapons on a weekly buff. This week buff the auto rifles and op the pulse rifles, next weekly update, buff pulse and op scouts etc. still not the perfect fix but at least once a month your weapon of choice would be the best it could be and it would get people actively using different types of weapons and maybe just maybe slow down the "this weapon is too op, that weapon is too op crowd (ok probably not lol). Just my thoughts but I think I would enjoy using a different weapon every week knowing it was going to get the job done instead of day After day using my trusty scout rifle.

If your using an autorifle in PVE your doing it wrong. Don't be a lazy unskilled shit use a precision weapon like a big boy and take a 1/4 second to aim at the head

This may be the only FPS that AR's are completely impractical. I got Hardlight just a couple days before the patch. It looks and sounds incredible...but there is zero reason to use it or any AR for ROC, Nightfall or Raids. Damage should be MUCH higher at the price of accuracy. BF, COD, Killzone...pretty much any shooter has this model.

If we get 58 more votes for Option 1, we will have gained near 300 in an hour! You guys rock! Bungie will have to notice!

PvE auto rifles need a buff. Bump
-
They just need their damage back as auto rifles now have the longest TTK of any primary. Also the "2.5%" nerf is another reason I'm convinced Bungie never tests their weapon updates as the auto rifles actually got their damage reduced by around 13%. (That and shotguns in pvp still feel the exact same)
-
I think they made a mistake nerfing the autos and buffing pulse, I think they should have done only one buff pulse or nerf autos doing both has just tipped the scales the other way instead of balancing those fools at bungie have no clue
-
Stopped using auto rifles because the nerf felt wayyyy more than "2.5%"
-
They need more than 2.5% for PvE. I think they need to do more of what they did with shotguns and differ the nerds and buffs between PvE and PvP. Just make it clear to new players what those differences are.
-
They should not have been touched in PvE. What they did is extremely noticeable and a slap in the face to PvE users.
-
Bump autos and handcannons are only weapons I will only use as they are fun for me to use dont nerf due to some 10 yearnold getting screwed in crucible
-
Yeah put them back they sucked at longer ranges anyway now they're worse!!
-
Lol I hope auto rifles die, scout rifles are waaaay better. Suros can suck it
-
SUROS needed to get taken down a level or two, it's such a training gun it's ridiculous: high impact, good RoF, barely any recoil and gives back health upon only causing damage? GTFO, the gun was stupid, I'm glad it got nerfed

They based their nerf on usage stats, which in and of itself is shoddy because in every Iron Banner to date, the headshot bounty has been Auto Rifles, so naturally everyone would be using them, and naturally anyone with the SUROS Regime (which is a lot since it's been sold 3 times I believe) would be using that. Their research is a bit skewed, and by a bit I mean a lot. ARs need to be returned back to their pre-patch damage. If anything, change the stability stats so they aren't as accurate like they did with Hand Cannons, that would level them out with Pulse & Scout Rifles beautifully. SCOUT- Lowest RoF (one round per trigger/Non-Auto), Highest Accuracy PULSE- Mid Tier RoF (3 rounds per trigger/Non-Auto), Good Accuracy AUTO- Highest RoF (Full Auto), OK Accuracy Making them tougher to control would be a much more sensible change than making them weaker. At this point even at optimal range, ARs get beat by everything else. Seems more of a vindictive change than a progressive one.
-
For PvE autos need a buff, but they're fine in PvP with the exception of shitty high RoF, low impact ones.
-
Buff please
