      • It really needs to go back to the way it was in pvp too, t2k is really staggered towards pulse rifles and hand cannons now, I know a lot of people might say it doesn't make much difference, but I'm noticing there's an extra split second in auto rifle kills now that are frequently costing me. Don't get me wrong playing with the pulse rifles is really great now, but that -2% was unecessary, threw the gameplay out of balance

        • Give auto rifles back the 2.5% and an extra 5%. But make it do fast shooting rifles get more of a boost than slow shooting ones.

          • First off, your math is a failure. It was an average of 2.5% depending on impact, how much did Nechrochasm get nerfed? How about Silimar's wrath? Since the patch I've played a decent amount with auto rifles, I upgraded my old monte carlo at Xur and have it almost totally leveled. It's fine, the range feels reasonable, the time to kill is on par especially when considering ease of use. Sadly your poll is invalid and while it's good to be passionate, you've gone to the point of not thinking evenly about this. Why is it invalid? For the same reason almost all polls are invalid. Most people who don't main an auto won't vote or their vote will be meaningless because they don't have enough experience or they just don't care, anyone who mains an auto is biased to have them as strong as possible. There will likely always be more auto users than any other gun type because they are easy, familiar and offer a way to change up play style. But the numbers indicated more than just that, they were still too good. They were the most viable option across all encounter ranges. You can't solve it by just giving a buff to everything because then everything is too strong, they have to bring everything to a median for DPS/TTK and make sure they fit the role they are designed for via stability/range. Try using all 4 weapon types at their intended ranges to run through some heroic stories, I know your heavily biased but you should be able to notice that autos don't fall behind unless you try to use them at range. It's just that you can't use them like a scout (for both range and damage) anymore and be as effective as a scout rifle.

            • I have since vaulted all my auto rifles after that patch. They are all snow flake distributors as far as I'm concerned.

              • Judging how (from what I read, at least) the Atheon's Epilogue auto can't destroy an Oracle on Hard in a single clip anymore... Yeah. The nerf was too much. They need to be buffed back up again to what they were before. I can't use mine at this point, I have them mainly for trophy guns.

                • I was an avid Suros user pre 1.1.1 and though it still can be lethal; (Crucible ) it's not quite the same feel. Tested with a few other legendary AR's (most low impact post-DLC) and those had a similar first impression. Bad Juju seems to be the way of the future for this Xbox user.

                • Autos took a 2.5% nerf across the board. Which means some guns took the hit harder than others. Nbd. I prefer handcannons and PR's anyway. So i have no complaints. Just wish i maxed out my edict before i did my defiant

                    • It's sad even after the nerf I still find myself on a patrol with hard light I will never get rid of it but this patch has made her hit like an 8 year old. Thanks bungie for breaking an already limp weapon.

                        • I just want the accuracy back on The Last Word. You can't hit headshots at medium range anymore, which is sad because it's supposed to be a precision weapon. I also agree that Auto Rifles suck now. #bringbacktlwandautos

                          • I rarely use ARs but to nerf them in pve is absolutely rediculous! WTF? Also giving the low impact ARs a nerf when they are already struggling was illogical, they needed a buff! Suros nerf in pvp maybe, but just a little.

                              The diversity of weapons used went DOWN because of this update not up. We need to reset autos and stop messing with the game mechanics for a bit. There are bigger fish to fry. Enough of this pandering to people that complain about dying in crucible to a certain weapon. It's most likely not imbalance at all, just jealousy. Maybe at bungie you could take a look at all the people complaining and notice a trend: that there was not one single instance where someone that had, for example, Suros Regime complained that it was overpowered. So the people without it, their actual complaint if you can read minds is: we hate the RNG not autorifles. #emergencymaintenance

                              • So..In order for your fantasy poll to technically be a poll, can you verify that every person who has voted were not Auto-Rifle biased in the first place? Because I could go ask 2500 Feminists if women had the same rights as men and they'd say no on a unanimous scale. I agree that Auto Rifles were overnerfed, but the poll means nothing.
