85% think that Auto's need a buff, bungie hasn't acknowledged thousands of people. I'm doing what I can to keep up this thread.
THIS IS MORE PVE GEARED THAN ANYTHING ELSE BUFF NON GUARDIAN DAMAGE
85% think Bungie messed up
A Great Video Explaining the Negative Effects brought on by 1.1.1:
http://youtu.be/GMQ_f4NoNVc
Auto's will always be the most popular, people are familiar with them. That's how it goes.
It's not fair you ruin these weapons and make them unenjoyable just because they are popular.
Scouts will become next most popular then you'll nerf those. It's not right.
Edit: I believe pretty strongly in this, I love my Suros, Hardlight and Monte Carlo, sadly they don't live up to there names. Please bump if you agree, I want to have a shot at change (=

Over 10,000 votes requesting a buff. Lets go Bungie!
Major Edit: Appears some are too lazy to actually look at the thread showing the amount of nerf each weapon received, so I will post here, know that these are not my results but another supporter in the community.
Actual % of Nerf
Suros Regime: 14% (Impact Rating: 28)
HardLight: 6-9% dependent on first tree attachments (Impact Rating: 9)
Abyss Defiant: 6.3% (Impact Rating 8)
Monte Carlo: 6.3% (Impact Rating 8)
This is far off the "2.5%" released by Bungievision.
Edit: Greatly appreciating all the support, this is the only way to get Bungie's attention and get our Auto's back! I'd like to invite any Bungie admin/mod/ninja/Deej to pass this on to devs. Need you guys.
Edited title to sound more professional.
Please write bump, amount of replies has a direct correlation to Bungie paying attention.

Yeah suros isn't good in crucible or pve anymore
-
Shit man in Crucible too. They're absolute trash now. They were okay before the 2.5%

Kill times for weapons on average should look like this: (They already look like this, except Pulse Rifles appear to be extremely low, around .7 seconds, and Auto Rifles are around 1.05 seconds. This should be adjusted. HOWEVER, I am not sure about the Pulse Rifles because the data on their TTKs is not complete) Fastest average handcannon TTK: .7 seconds Fastest average Scout Rifle TTK: .8 seconds Fastest average Pulse Rifle TTK: .9 seconds Fastest average Auto Rifle TTK: .95 seconds This is just what I think that average should be, Exotics usually have a faster kill time than the average. Right now, the average Auto Rifle TTK is about 1.05 seconds. By making the average to .95, the damage would be increased slightly, but not to where they were. For example, SUROS is doing 31-32 and prepatch was doing about 37. To make the kill time more fair, the damage should be about 33-34 per headshot (depending on ballistics). This might still seem low, but 34 per headshot is a 6-shot kill (what it was pre-patch) on all classes, while 33 per headshot is a 6 shot kill on Hunters only and 7 on Titans and Warlocks with high armor. So, I think the best way to achieve this would be a couple more rebalances. In their current state, Auto rifles are too weak. I think their damage should be BUFFED by about 5-6%. This would only add about 1-2 points of damage on high impact Autos, but wouldn't affect low impact much at all, but it would make them more balanced because right now they are too weak. If Pulse Rifles really have an average TTK of about .7 seconds, I think they should get a nerf of about 2-3% damage. Again, this would only take off about 1 point of damage, and would affect high impact more than low impact.

Buh-Buh-Buh-Bump!
-
AR's sucked in PvE even before the nerf. The nerf really only altered AR use in PvP. Hand cannons and Scout's have always been the superior primaries in PvE.
-
Hard Light is still good in the Crucible. I've killed so hard with it.
-
Hugely agree. Barely played Crucible since the nerf because it ruined it for me.
-
I adored the Bronzed Miyamoto I got from the Crucible. It was a bullet spraying thing of joy. A lot harder to get the head shots like a Hand Cannon but it was fun. The nerf made it less fun. I tried to keep using it but when I used a random Hand Cannon I instantly did better. I miss Auto Rifles.
-
They desperately need the buff, specific ones maybe not so much, but instead of nerfing, simply buff the other weapons to an equal rating. Obviously pulse rifles shoot 3 bullets at a time, so comparatively an auto rifle should deal the same damage as 2 of those rounds, seeing as how there is a pause between shots. Hand cannons have always been massive damage dealers so they should be kept in mind when compared to the others. And that's just primary, secondary weapons should deal a lot of damage so they are good, just low ammo found. Heavies should destroy everything, but make their ammo hard or "rare" to obtain
-
problem is, shitty guns like AE and Hardlight got hammered too.
-
BUMP. Loved the autos but now they're not even on a level playing field with other weapons types. Please bring them up to par with rest. The only exception should be Necro, that gun should be a PVE monster and not the pea shooter it currently is.
-
Here's what needs to happen: 1. Give the Auto Rifles back 2.5% 2. Hold an official vote for any weapon Nerfing or Buffing.
-
Does not matter if 81% dont like it could even be 99 or even 100% not agreeing with it. Bungie would not have to change it back, since polls really mean nothing in the end.
-
Bump. If they can make shotguns do 100% more damage in PvE while nerfing them in PvP, then surely they can increase damage against non-guardian targets by 10% without affecting TTK in PvP.
-
-
Bump. Through and through.
-
My problem with the nerf is the map size. Most maps are small with tight corners. When trying to use a auto rifle at its intended range a enemy can eat bullets and close the gap to one shot /slide with a shot gun. It is hard to stay at their intended range with maps being so small and intended distance being able to be closed to quickly to eat a shotgun or fusion rifle blast. i feel if you encounter someone running around with a shotgun that is mid range your auto rifle should be more than enough dpsto be able to put them down before they get into shotgun range. Ifthey get the drop on you or you encounter them in the intended shotgun range then by all means shotgun should win. Basically we need bigger maps with less blind spots or inpact given back to auto rifles. Just my opinion.

Autorifles are so boring.

The AR nerf wasn't necessary and if Bungie cares about this community at all they will return them to their previous status. I love Destiny but watching my favorite weapons become the weakest weapons kinda sucks both in PVE & PVP. First they butchered the biggest prize in the game (Vex) & now Suros?
-
they didnt need to nerf autos at all sure in the beginning when suros was hitting what was it like 42 to the head yeah that needed a nerf but autos are really just not that great now compared to other things
-
-
I don't understand why they nerfed them in the first place? Why not just buff all the crap weapons and bring them up to par? It was a stupid decision by Bungie. The auto riffles were already pretty borderline to begin with. There was only like 5 quality auto rifles in the game.
