I'm not entirely sure if this is late or not, or if this falls under anyone's purview, however:
Bungie, why are the Faction Vendor's so limited in terms of stock? While I suppose this is meant to encourage players to grind out reputation ranks with them for the chance to get something they aren't actively selling, I think it may be a good idea to either expand their inventories, or maybe have them refresh on a regular basis. For example:
-Please, add Faction Shaders to the current inventories. They're purely cosmetic options, and in-universe, it would make sense for a Faction to have a Guardian that they happen to sponsor, wear their colors.
-Possibly have the weapon inventories rotate on a regular basis, offering different weapons with different perks and elements.
As for Faction Reward Packages, I've seen a marked decrease in getting Faction items from them, and I have a feeling that the addition of Crucible/Vanguard Commendations are skewing the RNG somewhat. Since they count as a "Legendary" quality item, they decrease the chance of getting any of the Faction items, most of which are "Legendary" quality themselves.
I may be making the wrong assumption, but when I get a reward package from a particular Faction, I usually expect it to include something from their stock, even if it's an Uncommon Emblem, or a piece of Armor that I may never use. Faction's giving Ascendant Materials, Strange Coins and Motes of Light seems somewhat odd and inconsistent to me.
