ATTN MANTIS: PvP and PvE Specific weapons
Hi Mantis,
I'll jump to the point since I am sure you are busy.
he Vex was a disaster in the Crucible; it was a game ruiner. Similarly, nerving the Vex was troubling for PvE players that had acquired it.
With result, it would be great, and would solve many issues, if there were a few weapons that simply cannot be used in PvP or cannot be used in PvE. That way you guys acan develop some great weapons like the Vex and keep them out of the PvP crucible.
Furthermore, it would be preferable if the most-powerful weapons in PvP were not only acquirable through the Raids: it just doesn't make sense.
Anyways, just my two-cents. Its great you guys are so integrated with your clients and open to that feedback mechanism in your design process. Where I work, people are terrified of change or critique.

17 RepliesOne of the big bets we made with Destiny was having a unified player inventory across all activities. I wouldn't want to add a bunch of rules for weapons you can/can't use under certain circumstances, and we spent a lot of time making sure weapons behave the way we expect them to. The Vex Mythoclast is the outlier of all outliers, so congrats to those players who have earned it (though I'll stick with Thorn, thanks).

The more I play both modes the more I want a Grand Unification Theory that brings these two models into reconciliation. Kinda-sorta One Ring to Rule a Shared World. Borderlands has had dueling, for Pete's sake.

The post powerful pvp weapons are acquired through iron banner not the raid. When was the last time u got killed by atheons epilogue

This game is broken , utter trash , weapon.damage system is ruined , hand cannons nerfed two times and still the most powerful guns in the game.
