For any of you 30+ players out there.
Along with the new Weekly Heroic matchmaking came an opportunity. Regardless of Grimoire, weapons, completions, and stored armour; the armour you equip is what counts. Equip some gear that drops your light level down to 27/28 and start the Weekly Heroic on Hard Lv30. Allow matchmaking to pair you with 27s/28s and then switch back to your normal gear.
Now you can begin. I challenge you to carry them all the way through to the rewards screen. I don't care how many deaths, wipes, or how long it takes. All you have to do is hit that 30s countdown timer at the end. I want you to be responsible for them getting their coveted Xur equipment for the week.
Check out my most recent games on my Warlock.
Good Luck, Guardians.
Edit: Quite a few positive responses! I'm surprised. If possible I'd like to see people finding noobs to adopt in this thread for Nightfalls etc. Thanks for the positive community guys.

Crota on hard no land beyond only
-
I wish someone would literally carry me through content lol. My arm and wrist are broken so no nightfall or weekly heroic for me for at least like 6 weeks

I have been thinking of doing something similar with the Vault of Glass. A long time ago, 29s competed it on hard, not many people do nowadays. You just breeze through as a 32, with a Vex as your reward, if you are fortunate enough. BUNGIE really dropped the ball here. To maintain the prestige of the Vault of Glass, they should have limited the level to 30, and only allowed guardians to use Vault raid armour, or armour that was light level 29 or below. If they had, there certainly wouldn't be every jack the lad running around with a Vex.

I don't know about doing it for an enjoyable challenge, but that's mighty nice of you. I may start doing this to help people out.
-
It's a sad day when we have to invent ways to make this game fun....
-
Enter matchmaking as a 27. Switch gear to get to 32. Carry them to the beginning of the boss fight. Leave fireteam.
-
Did it got paired with 32's
-
At first I thought this idea sucks. Then I read the rest of it... This idea is actually pretty ingenius, too bad I don't even have time to finish nf/heroic/raids on even two characters.
-
That's a REALLY good idea. I'll have to help some lower levels next time I can.
-
Bored? Want a challenge? Try and get laid.
-
Just did this and then the 27's surrounded me lol
-
Good idea.. how many 27s actually try to do level 30 stuff like that?
-
Edited by Djentacles: 3/1/2015 3:43:48 AMWhat's different about this than just doing it solo, because that's essentially what you're doing with 27's. Not a challenge. A challenge would be doing a nightfall solo as a lvl 20. Or even 3 20's. Edit: I don't think you would be able to even damage the enemy as a lvl 20, not sure. Their level might just be a question mark.

Did this the last Omnigul nightfall
-
Did this on Rockets Mc'Dickface cause i was tired of seeing lvl 32's dying 10 times while trying to skip the first part of the strike. And i know its not a DZ but do you really think its faster to die over and over again instead of just killing all the mobs? I doubt it ...
-
It's pretty damn sad that people have to make up challenges to get this game to be fun.
-
This would be a good idea if your stats weren't trash
-
carry noobs even more so it makes finding decent raid parties even harder. sounds like a great idea..... NOT
-
I was on my 28 Titan and me and another 27 were paired with a 31. Only wipes once. Coincidence?
-
This is a great way to help casuals who aren't level 30+ to become end game levels. :) so going to do this...
-
I'm gonna totally do this
-
Love it! Going to start doing this.
-
I literally did this almost all day yesterday
-
That's actually not a bad idea lol
-
Going to try this tomorrow using only Universal Remote and Fellwinter's Lie.

omg bump
