I think you assume people who buy from Xur aren't also doing nightfall and raids. I keep getting repeats of exotics I already have. What great story is it that you got a random drop from beating Crota that's not much of a story either. You are in the minority most people are happy when Xur sells good stuff.

I mean, I'm just so tired of seeing other people carrying and using weapons...people who aren't me. I've got my weapons, and I kick A$$ with them. But when I see someone else with a weapon it just devalues mine, makes my weapons look cheap. And it makes my A$$ kicking look less A$$ kicking-ness, you know? Ideally, if I could be on a raid, it would be me with my weapons, you know, kicking A$$, with 5 other team members who don't have weapons. They could dance, or point, or whatever, for the entirety of the raid...if they want to be active participants maybe they can melee some enemies. I guess I could allow this, some melee-ing, but definitely no killing enemies. I kill the enemies. Me with my super weapons that are special. And don't get me started on those gays who want to marry and devalue my marriage.

RNG is a devaluation of exotics, if you can do bad in Crucible and get Hawkmoon, thats devaluation. The fact there is an Exotic Chest in VoG is a devaluation. Getting carried through to death singer is devaluation. ______________________ Red Death is the first decent exotic I bought from Xur, the rest I got from RNG.

You want a vex, you got to grind, you want raid gear you have to grind. You want to complete an exotic bounty you gotta grind. You want any other weapon besides raid weapons do strikes, night falls and the weekly. Your not grinding and the chance is like everyone else, grinding has absolutely -blam!- all to do with the Ghorn, Red Death, blah blah blah!! Jesus a low level player that does shit all in the crucible can get rewarded one of many legendaries/ exotics and have to wait ten or so levels to use it so shut the hell up already about the grinding crap. Grinding has nothing to do with anything besides exotic bounties and raid items, stuff that xur has not sold and never will. Edit: keep in mind, Red Death was the first exotic sold by Xur and guess what was sold second week???? Bring a few buckets cause I see the tears coming!!!! I played 500+ hours between three characters and have got shit all for a loooooong time, if I don't get the Ghorn through a drop I will Xurn that mother -blam!-er!!!!

I just spent 17 hours in front of my TV to get something that doesn't really exist... That a better story? I love this game, but I love living an actual life even more so. Expansion content down the line will always have something better. Red Death and others like it will go into the pile along with everything else we've discarded for the next best thing.

Not everyone is lucky to get an exotic you know. I work hard in the military I don't always have time to play destiny it's going to be even harder going over seas. Xur provides what is necessary to buy sometimes to continue progress through the game. Because otherwise some people wouldn't advance because of terrible luck.

RNG and Xurning are equivalent in "earning", even though both are based off of luck. Plus, I challenge you to tell me an actual "epic story" about how you got an exotic. And "I killed this guy and pop I got an exotic" doesn't count.
