I sort of see where you are coming from, because I feel the same way about the Crown of the Sovereign emblem. It will be a bitter sweet day when the queen's wrath comes back and I go from the only kid in town with that emblem to everyone and their mom has it because it now only takes 10 hours to get it and they wanted to rank up for that super sweet (whatever they will sell) anyway. I've never felt this way about weapons though. Maybe this is the difference between PvE and PvP players. Since I mostly play coop with people, if alot of people have a strong weapon, it makes my life alot easier. If I'm on a team with all G-Horn owners, crota is going down in zero time flat. The more people that could join a team and have that strong weapon, the better. Though in PvE there are also only two weapons that are that powerful (Gjallahorn and Ice Breaker). You don't really earn any gear in this game. You obtain it through luck, one way or another and so I don't really feel entitled to something just because it rolled in a chest, engram, drop, package or nightfall.

Been playing since day one, have all exotic guns. Don't care that he sells amazing guns to players who have worked for them.
-
How does a virtual item have any "value"? Look i'll simplify this as much as I can for you. You're not special. You're not unique. You don't deserve any item any more/less than any other person who paid for this game. There's only a handful of exotics for each class, and probably 2 dozen or so exotic weapons. Who cares what items/weapons other people have? How many people come up to you in a day/week and go "OMG I've never seen that item, it looks so cool and you're the only one I've ever seen with it"? Zero. You got a drop item by pure luck, congrats. So have literally hundreds of thousands if not millions of players. Quit being selfish, grow up, and shut the -blam!- up.

I earned hard light, and I'd love to see him sell it again so others can use it as well - it's not the best gun, but I enjoy it - why should that be an exclusive privilege when it's RNG?
-
I bought it today after having to spend 200+ motes trying to get it but not and doing the nightfall every single week also with no luck. I'd say I've earned it.
-
Devaluation, so what if the value goes down if it still works great
-
Had the praxic Fire since October

Please delete your annoying post.

What infantile garbage.

Jesus!! Learn to make paragraphs. Didn't read your post because it looks like a bunch of letters that are mashed together. We have all had universal remote forever. We just chose not to use it because it was useless.
-
This isn't a hardcore mmo game where you actually earn gear. Exotic doesn't mean rare or special necessarily, just different from others. You didn't do anything special to get your Universal Remote or Heart of Praxic Fire to begin with - you were simply lucky. Why would being lucky make you feel special?? You didn't do anything that some kid with a 0.1 kd in Crucible didn't do for your exotic. If Xur ever sells Fatebringer or Hunger of Crota or Abyss Defiant or Vision of Confluence or Vex Mythoclast or Necrochasm...then and only then can you rightfully be upset. Why? Those kinds of items are the ONLY earned items in the game. Until then, you're just like some hipster kid who stops liking a band when everyone else starts liking them. Get over yourself, you're no more or less special than anyone else with or without Universal Remote.

Edited by GuardianzOfWar : 2/27/2015 9:19:05 PM*folk Not foke lmao Everyone who plays the game deserves to try everything in the game. You arent a special snowflake because you posses something someone else doesnt. I'm happy for ppl when I see a Gally drop for them and/or they are able to get it through Xur. It isn't going make a scrub an elite player just because he has a piece of equipment. Quit your damn crying. I have every gun in the game and hope everyone else gets to that point someday.
-
You should quit and delete your characters, that'll show em
-
So your trying to say that when people grind they aren't trying to get a certain piece? That's like staying you want to play the lottery and not win
-
-
It's a game...chill. Differentiate and achieve something in real life...it's worth more.
-
We are all Guardians fighting the same enemies. I'm not gonna call you a loser or anything else because your probably not, but have you ever played team sports at a high level or been in the military?
-
NOTHING he is selling this week is even notable towards "He should never sell it"
-
I know I made another comment a few minutes ago but I'd like to point something out. My first exotic was The Last Word, which I got from a vanguard ROC(may I remind you that it's a 2% chance for an exotic to drop) I was happy about it yeah, but I didn't complain when I got another one from the atheon chest, who would? All's it is, is another last word for my other character, and I didn't get irritated when my friend got 2 in one raid. I was happy that he gets to experience the same thing I did. I may not use the last word as much, but I don't bitch when I see other people get it, and I'm not a better player for getting one, it just means I played 50 strikes and wasted my life on getting an exotic.
-
I wouldn't care if he sold ghorn even though I have it
-
Your name on the forums is "Eboo13", but you signed as "eboo12"? Wat?
-
They still took the time to earn those 23 coins to buy the gun and who cares anyway everybody almost has every exotic on the game already They arent hard to get
-
Wow...I just read an entire article about somebody bitching that xür is selling a weapon, bet you'd change your mind if he sold the g-horn. So let me ask the author of the article one thing, "Why would you bitch that xür is selling one of the shittiest exotics in the game? Yeah some people know how to use it, but really lets all face it, the gun is just a trophy for your collection.
-
So to sum this up: You can use the word devaluation in a sentence but in the end you have no idea what it really means.
-
It's a video game you -blam!-ing geek. Get over yourself
