But it is. When someone says they are a certain color, you fill in stereotypes that you learned and imagine how this person is like in real life. And that's just for an online perspective. So yes it does matter

    To you it does, me I don't care. I don't bother reading comments that people post, proclaiming their colour, religion etc. It's boring, pointless and those that engage with this kind of attention seeker are merely enablers.

  • You might not care, but it is important, because whether or not you care about someone's skin color, it affects your perception on them.

    Strange? As I don't care, it doesn't make a blind bit of difference to me what colour someone is. Those who continually mention colour, be it their own or somone else's, end up damaging race relations far more than they could imagine. Ironic but true.
