An incorrect fact at that; judging by the detailed discussions about the lore on this very page, it seems like you are in the minority (certainly in this thread) where a lot of people (myself included) who DO give a sh*t. But hey, you rage away at people having intelligent conversations about the game lore if you like - Whatever makes you happy

  • Incorrect or not. Still a fact. Again, not mad. When someone derps along saying hunters should't have ghorn because they read the grimoir, my reaction is just that , "who cares" If the game developer thought to, I dunno, include a story line, then it would be a valid discussion. But for the fact that it was this game was explicitly denied a story that makes me point out how ridiculous it is when people make ridiculous claims. Destiny is a pretty shooter, the story is a bunch of sci fi tropes hashed together, seemingly at the last moment. I'm sorry if by saying no one gives a shit about something you read on the internet you think I'm mad. Because I'm not. If anything I'm mad at the game developer for trying to convince people this is anything more than Call of Duty: Space Magic

  • "Incorrect or not. Still a fact" lol The definition of a 'fact' is something that has really/actually occurred aka something true; and not made up. I can say the sky is green; and by your reckoning that would be a fact, just an incorrect one...? That isn't how 'facts' work :p "this game was explicitly denied a story " lol There is actually a great story and lore, split between the game and the Grimoire, which actually paints a rich history of the game and the Universe... But i'm guessing because it wasn't given to you in a cut scene you couldn't be bothered to find out? "...by saying no one gives a shit " Exactly - You said NO-ONE cares (to paraphrase) - Whereas the rest of the comments, and my own input, clearly demonstrates this is not true. Pointing out you being wrong doesn't make you mad, it just makes you wrong lol

Well when the amount of people who care vs the amount of people who don't care is at such a ridiculously small fraction and i make a generalisation based upon that, it becomes as true as you saying the sky is blue. Which is to say the sky is sometimes blue, also black, red, grey, etc. So let me rephrase, MOSTLY no one cares. And just because a few derps do care doesn't change the fact that I can make broad sweeping generalisations about the TOTAL** lack of story and that, yes, no one cares that hunters shouldn't have blah blah blah. The same as saying the sky is green because NOT EVERYONE thinks it's blue. **The in game story is LAUGHABLE at best, I don't have time to explain why I don't have time to explain why this is true. And the fact that people like you are on bungies nuts about it's so called rich story line is what validates game developers into thinking they can get away with putting together, what might as well be, a gd wiki page about the "history of the universe." Get real kid. The grimoir might as well be fan fic. And if you don't plainly see that, then you are the one of the reasons the gaming industry is pulling this bs.
