Here's a tip though: don't use it in pvp until you get the universal remote upgrade because it's terrible before that. But once you get it, you'll be downing people so fast that you won't even know what happened to them. For a pve standpoint, it's a LOT of fun to play around with, but if you're looking at actually doing damage and getting bang for your buck, than simply use a shotgun for your special weapon. However, this thing still destroys anything, the reload time is a the problem, but it's nothing you can't get used to. UR was my first exotic and I was very disappointed about it. But something told me not to dismantle it. ...and it's a good thing I didn't.

I've had a UR for months, leveled it up to full and played around with it in the crucible from time to time. It's a fine gun in there. The ADS range is pretty solid, the damage is good....and it looks badass. With the new Shotgun PvE buff though ? It's an unmitigated death machine. Primary slot, ammo for days (for a shotgun) 2 shots rip through basically any non boss in the game. Had a blast yesterday butting my bubble down on Valus and jumping out to shoot him in the face harder than my ice breaker can hit for.

Yes. Does mega damage when leveled up. No longer the "junker" it used to be ;)

IMO Its 1 of the stronger weapons in the game. Rating: 6.5/8 Its high up in the middle tier exotics.
