So Why Is Praxic Fire So Loved For??
Why is this chest piece so loved? I look at its upgrades and it doesnt seem to be that good. Does the regeneration on it work really fast or something??

3 RepliesIt was rare. I prefer voidfang vestments for PvP (though if you're a pro, praxic Fire is better for you). If you save your super for Rez in pve, you'll never really take advantage of the exotic perk. I prefer starfire for pve. I don't raid, I'm not great at pvp, so take my opinion with whatever salt you need.

Looks like you're playing a Voidwalker now, so I can understand why you'd be confused, especially if your Sunsinger isn't leveled. With Heart of the Praxic Fire and 100% Discipline with Fusion Grenades, you have extremely high single-target damage and potential to stun hordes of enemies (when you stick and enemy with a Fusion Grenade, the enemy will cower, as do the ones around them (also, this works with the Angry modifier)). Heart of the Praxic allows you to continuously mash the grenade button, ready to throw a grenade again as soon as you finish throwing the first. It's as good as Obsidian Mind.

By the time you throw a grenade the next ones ready to go, and it also charges your melee giving you the opportunity of 3 one hit melees. You can get off up to 13 grenades and 3 melees

For most folks I think its just lemming style "I want what the item de-jour is". Nothing is actually rare in this game except Fate of all Fools. It's just stuff individuals don't have yet so they call it rare. The new "OMG I need that" item will appear shortly. Please stand-by.

2 RepliesNormal Sunsinger with max discipline you can throw around 7-10 grenades. Max discipline Praxic Fire can get you 16-20. And THAT is some DPS.
