The forums can be a great place to find groups for raiding, weekly strikes, hitting hard in the crucible, or whatever else you may want to do with a group. But not everyone wants a one shot group that drops off as soon as things get rough. As anyone who uses LFG sites on a regular basis can tell you, teaming up with five random people makes communication and fluidity (two of the most important aspects of a raid team) very difficult to accomplish, and not everyone's up for it. Some of you might want a more permanent raid team that can be well-planned with a schedule, because it would make raids faster and more consistently finished. For this I've created a new website that will be launched next month called Destinylft. Destinylft (looking for team) is the dating site of fireteams (just with a lot more kicking ass). When you join, you will create a profile, specifying your interests (Raids, weekly events, PVP, etc.) in the order that you would like to go about them, as well as your daily/weekly/monthly availability, along with your preference for serious or casual gaming and your tendency to be a leader or a follower, among a few other things. Your profile will then be matched with two or five others and before long you will have a team of shiny new friends to run with on a regular basis, without having to worry about whether or not the team will be full of scrubs, or that it's full of people too serious for your blood. That's where the community comes in. Before this goes live, we need your help. Do you think this will work? Would you use it? Have ideas?
