Having played several hours of PVP last night following the patch, I really didn't notice a difference in effectiveness of weapons aside from PRs. Felwinter's Lie still one shots from stupid range, Hawkmoon/TLW/Thorn still crush everything, and (as opposed to all the ranting on Reddit) Mythoclast is as good as it ever was.
Anybody else notice the same?

In games of Clash and Skirmish when one team gets heavy the other team tends to just run to the back and hide. - as opposed to attacking the other team hoping to steal a heavy drop. Those two game modes are now pretty lame.

Hand cannons are still the best primary, but there's definitely some noticeable changes. Thorn can't quite snipe like it used to, and neither can TLW. Shotguns are pretty much balanced now, and Shoot to Loot got fixed which is absolutely amazing.

Yes, it appears that Bungie did not fail to disappoint in yet another one of their endeavors. The norm for them has now become to over-promise and under-produce. Still getting sniped by hand cannons, Suros Regime and Mythoclast are is still ridiculously over-powered, fusion rifles can still melt people from long range, and sliding pretty much negates any range limitations the shotgun has. Needless to say, their PvP is still so hopelessly unbalanced that I fear their ten year plan is not nearly enough time to get things right.

yup. also, i only played skirmish but i didn't see any increase in pr usage. saw one red death in four hours. people seem to disagree with me so maybe its different in other modes or just chance for me idk.

I get killed a lot. Plenty of experience on the receiving end. I noticed I was able to dodge fusion rifles a bit better, and auto rifles took longer to bring me down, giving me a chance with my HC. I REALLY liked fewer rocket launcher dance parties. The games I played post patch were more fun, even though I still get killed.

Yup I have been saying it all day. I haven't notice any change at all
