"THe 4th Horseman," now the shittiest shotgun in existence...
With the 1.1.1(ake the Heavy Ammo patch) Bungie 'rebalanced' a lot of weapons. Shotguns were receiving a 100% damage boost to PvE. They were also getting a range nerf overall. No shotguns were mentioned specifically in the patch notes, but The 4th Horseman was was absolutely nuked. Originally, using Accurized Ballistics with Speed Reload was the best setup. It gave you the best balance between range, stability, and reload speed. But the fire rate was what made The 4th Horseman stand out. But that is no more. Now, there is absolutely NO stability, lower range, and the fire rate is less than half its original glory. I am so sick of weapons being turned to shit because of people complaining in PvP. Its a -blam!-ing exotic! Its supposed to be OP. Everyone complains about the Titans' Shoulder Charge, and the Warlocks' Flame Shield, and even the Hunters' Blink, even though Warlocks have it too, but Bungie doesn't do shit. Why does a weapon that doesn't have a guaranteed drop, take precedence of a core skill that any player can get.

I can't tell you how frustrated I am as well with this gun and I used to use it in PVE a fair amount. I got online yesterday all excited only to find that this get has been ruined. I used the same set up and had great stability before and now it look like I have 1/100 for stability. In addition to that it shoots way slower and now I can only carry 14 rounds compared to the original 28. I honestly think that they messed up and that this was an accident as there are no notes about this. Thoughts?

Was. I esssentially lost my favorite gun. Now, all the stats on Found Verdict are better, except for 1 impact. And everybody uses Found Verdict. 4th Horseman is no longer exotic.

Agree. 4th Horseman was already not so good.. Invective was already better for pvp.. but now the 4th Horseman is useless.. better call it The 4th Horse Sh!t.

Still good for PvE. it was never really a crucible oriented weapon anyway so I don't care.

2 RepliesI don't know man. Mine is only upgraded to the third perk but it 2 shots the Blade of Crota on the lvl30 mission. I think i actually like it for PVE. Same impact as Fellwinter's Lie but with faster fire rate and reload speed but lower range.

1 ReplyDude i did crotas end after the patch today ( only on normal unfortunately ) i forgot to take my plan c which i usually use for the sword bearer at crota , only maxed out special i had was the horsemen so i thought lets give it a go since its just been buffed , all 5 shots close range killed him , the fire rate has been dropped but DAMMM it hits like a beast, personally i love it
