So bungie said they accidentally nerfed Vex Mytho because they intentionally nerfed fusion rifles and the Vex is treated like a special weapon.
I do not think this is true because a player by the name of m00ninite posted this;
I want to know that if they treat the Vex like a special weapon like they say... THEN WHY DO SPECIAL WEAPON RELOAD SPEED GLOVES NOT APPLY TO IT?????
Sounds to me like BungayVision is just nerfin' a good gun. For kek.
Edit #Q.
SHOW THEM THE TRUE MEANING OF BUMPS GUARDIANZ
(the Z makes it cool. Trust me)

I don't see how it's even possible that they can be that negligent about their own game. Just goes to show what Bungie thinks about their community and fans.
-
The speed reload perks do apply to it though...
-
I use mytho in pvp and the "accidental nerf" has had no effect on its killing power. I never would have known an accident had happened if they didn't point it out. As for pve I couldn't tell you.
-
Bump I don't even have a Vex, but the concept of "balance by making everything worse" really needs to end.
-
-
"Rapidly kill 3 enemies with a special weapon" applies to it though. Seems like the Vex is having some identity confusion.

Edited by Mike-MF-Hall: 2/26/2015 6:25:55 PMVex is treated like a fusion rifle. Reload bonuses apply to the weapon in the primary or secondary slot. Special weapons loader does not benefit NLB or UR either. Special weapons loader bonus only loads weapons in the secondary slot. It's the way they coded the perk to classify weapons. They should probably make the perk apply to each individual special weapons class the way ammo bonuses do, as opposed to tying it to whatever ypu have as a secondary. It is funny that they forgot about it tho. It's likely how the OG Vex had such absurd damage values. What's most likely is that they wanted to nerf the Vex along with the ARs, but couldn't come up with a way to do it while still making the deadline of their promise for end of February. So they let it take the blanket Fusion nerf instesd of allowing it to be default best gun in the game again by being unchecked.

Ow now, all the Vex spammers crying, but hey you can still spam your thorn...
-
Either it was intentional or they are stupider than they seem. How could they think that widening the firing come of fusion rifles wouldn't affect the Vex? Have these people ever worked on a game before? Or is Destiny 1 just stuck with the interns, while the real Devs cook up Destiny 2?
-
Sounds suspect to me. Same with Suros and the "2.5" percent nerf.. Ended up being 11 percent. Bungie is lying to its biggest supporters. What a slap in the face!
-
The gun is a fusion rifle they would of known the nerf would of affected it
-
Exactly my thoughts when I saw this "bug". Completely intentional in my opinion.
-
Sucks now. Bungie is pathetic that they can't differentiate a primary fusion rifle from a secondary fusion rifle which were a problem in PVP. Just so -blam!-ing lazy.
