Good news and bad news. Bad news: If any of you are using the "baseStats" property on item definitions, you probably already noticed that this data isn't particularly useful. In two weeks, this property is going to be removed and replaced with a "stats" property, that will be a dictionary keyed by the stat hash. Good news: the new "stats" property will actually give you reasonable stats. This may/will be a property whose values you will actually want to use, as opposed to baseStats. We'll explain more as we approach that release in a couple of weeks, but soon you'll be able to get more useful stat data for items without having to query for actual instances on characters.
