Since you have to make it fair
Hunter(void): leaves a crate or mark that regenerates all types of ammo. With upgrades that increase health or weapon damage.
Warlock(arc): summon like a storm of lightning bolts that hits an area. A shower of lightning.
Titan(solar): a bunch of lots of minions that are on fire and obliterate stuff sort of like cursed thralls do.

I would say the hunters should be all primary and secondary ammo. Heavy shouldn't be able to regen. Simply due to abuse in the crucible.

Maybe it could decrease grenade cooldown instead of heavy ammo

Not really since its an aoe and doesn't affect other cooldowns, it would also give ammo, which warlocks don't do

Um I was referring to someone else's comment which said it decreases everyone else's grenade cool downs which warlock can do.

What's needed in the game is a healer class. So maybe not hunter but a super that lets you revive other team members automatically from a distance or an aoe that causes continuous health regen. A grenade void smoke bomb with effects similar to the Wizards mist attack would be cool as well.
