How Many Attempts Did It Take You To Get A Crux?
You know, I normally am not lucky to get good things quickly. So, I was starting to wonder how long it had taken you, my fellow Guardians, to get a Crux? A lot of people I asked so far have said they got theirs around 4 - 7 attempts until one of them drop (I even had a friend who had one drop on his very first attempt). I been doing my own personal poll on how long it had taken others to get the infamous Crux of Crota. When have you gotten your Crux of Crota?
Edit: Thank you all for replying to this thread. I got my Crux at around like 20 tries. My Nechrocasm has become my favorite weapon. I also hope all of you who haven't got one yet gets it.
Edit 2: Wow! 400+ replies! I've never had a thread go past 5 replies before! Thank you guys for all sharing your accounts to when you got yours. Some of you have gone through some extreme hours to get one. I really hope the Necrochasm gets a buff soon. I love it a lot but it can't compete with other arc types in it's class.

It seems like when getting things like Crux/Vex you are either really lucky or unlucky. I see a lot of it took me 2x or 20x. Not a lot of on between. Took me 17 btw. I feel like there is something about luck/RNG in this game that people don't discuss. And that is I believe the more time you spend on this game, the less luck you will have. Example- my friend has about 1/4 the amount of time played, and he received all exotics before I did by like 2 months. It would make sense from Bungie's PoV. Increase luck for those who play less to entice them to play more. Decrease luck for those who play a lot to increase their play time.

Not sure. Around 15 or so. Necro is more fun than I thought it would be given all the negativity surrounding it.
