"KirmitThefrog" comes forward.
So apparently "KirmitTHEfrog", the guy who deleted the kid's characters over SharePlay recently, is innocent.

It is just a game, most likely the people sending death threats and harassing messages would not be so "brave" in person. Gamers need to chill out some and enjoy games for what they are and not turn first person shooters into social justice projects.

7 RepliesWhat a load of crap. He just needs to admit that he did it, that he's a jerk and make it right by apologizing to the victim and deleting his own characters. Sony and Bungie should be ban him. Sony's own rules state,"You may not engage in deceptive or misleading practices. You may not abuse or harass others, including stalking behavior.". And if anyone wants to blame an 11-yr old kid and say he got what he deserves... The kid was not looking to cheat, he told the frog (jerk) he didn't need the cheat initially, then was talked into it. So if it's his own fault, then every child talked into drugs the first time or into the back of a rapist's car also deserves what happens to them?!?!? And we should drop the age for driving, drinking, military enlistment, etc. to 11-yrs because they certainly know what they are doing at all times.

The backlash was immense and he's got crazies out there threatening him with physical harm. The story he told is too good to be true.

I've been in one motorcycle accident and hit by a truck when I was 13. I've spent two years in Afghanistan with the Armed forces and have since been diagnosed with PTSD, I think I should use all those as excuses to hack some poor sods account and make everyone feel bad even though deep down I'm a rotten douche nozzle! No, it's a lie. I remember him saying he was going to do it before share play came out, the next day, victim number one. He bragged about it to all of us too. Be realistic, he got caught and is trying every sob story out there to weasel his way out of this. I for one think it's hilarious that he's now that scared he had to get his mum (supposedly) to protect him.

Simply put I front get why people are just utter AHoles on the internet. Just proves how sad some of these people are. At the same time kid should not gave given him the access to his characters. Its a vicious cycle.... Which is pretty -blam!-ed up. But to be honest I make it a rule not to be rude on the internet or be stick around with rude people. I make it a even bigger rule not to give out personal info or access to anyone I can't personally get my hands on.

4 RepliesMeh. All interest was lost when they "contacted his mum...yeah ok. Kirmit did a shitty thing to be fair but the other lad shouldn't have been playing anyway due to the age limit. He was unfortunately too nieve thinking that everyone will want to help others...he's learnt that now and if anything, this should help others realise this too. Give it a week and he will be back up to 30whatever anyhoo...not that difficult. There's enough to people on here that will drag him kicking and screaming through the raids to get stuff. He will be fine.
