The kid would have, what shaved a few days of acquiring a weapon? Which would have affected no one, Kermit was stalking the net looking for someone to -blam!- over, he went out is he's way to hurt someone, the kid lost probably 3- 5 months work. The punishment he got was much sever than what he was going to do and you want him to be punished further?
