Is there a Canon explanation as to why noble 6's name and home planet are classified?

Another attempt by Bungie to provide a character that players could fill themselves into. The only concrete thing we know about Noble 6 is his work against the Insurrection and his armor set. Steel MK. V[B]. That, as well as the hints that point to him being Ackerson's personal grim reaper.
