So, updating on my new roll.
The old roll from last Iron Banner i settled on was:
Hip Fire
Perfect Balance/ Send It/ Single Point Sling
Feeding Frenzy
After upgrading it fully and using it for a month or however long it was until this week, i felt it was lacking some punch.
I decided to reroll it. Though i was reluctant to.
I settled on:
Outlaw
Explosive Rounds/ Perfect Balance/ Snapshot
Final Round
I was not super happy with how slow the reload would be at times if i couldn't land critical shots while being mobbed by enemies.
However, as i started to upgrade it over the last day or two, it is starting to hit like a truck. I sacrificed reload speed at times (despite using Gunslinger on my hunter with Gunslinger's Trance and Chain of Woe with gloves with hand cannon reload perk) for what feels like a dramatic increase in stopping power. It hits shields harder than before.
I still don't like the slow reload speeds if i fail to hit a critical shot, but it feels like a decent payoff with the added damage it seems to be doing.
So, i guess what i am saying is, if you feel like sacrificing some reload speed for more stopping power, it feels like a good trade off. Just have to make sure you can find some cover and not allow yourself to get mobbed as much.
I wish i could have Outlaw, Field Scout, and Firefly but Firefly is not an available perk while rerolling.
