I'm a VERY casual player in Destiny - I only get to play a few hours every weekend, and that will continue until I graduate in May. That said, in the time I have played I have exotic bounties for both Bad Juju and Thorn. Since House of Wolves is dropping sometime in Q2, and I probably won't be able to play much in the interim, should I wait to turn in the bounties? I didn't have any exotics when TDB dropped, so I'm not sure how the turnover is for updating exotics. I'm just afraid of turning in those bounties and getting like 10 hours of play time with them before a whole new expansion happens, and then suddenly having outdated exotics that I can't upgrade unless I get lucky with Xur. It feels safer to just not play the weapons for a couple months, but do you guys know anything or have any thoughts on this?

They are supposed to make upgrading less painful, as Bungie stated they won't make players re-level their gear all over again. I am not sure exactly what that means, but would suggest hanging onto them until HoW comes out. Only thing I would think is if you upgrade what you have and it retains its perks, then it might not be bad to use it now. But going off of history, hang on.
