Heavy ammo synths from xur
I have bought 40 ammo synths from xur and when I use them I am not receiving the ammo. I've popped about 3 or 4 and not one of them works!! This is not cool and I guess there's nothing bungie can do for me! Raging. Anyone else getting hit with this pish?

if your consumable slots are full they will not work and you'll just get the cool down timer. To avoid this issue simply open up a couple of consumable slots by placing items in your vault. I normally free up at least 2 slots just in case I pick something up that gets placed in the consumable inventory slots. This is a known issue and hopefully bungie gets a fix in place. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12282

It's a bug that bungie is trying to fix. In order for you to receive heavy ammo after using a synth you must have an empty consumables slot. Otherwise it will still use a synth but not give you the ammo.

You need to leave one slot in your inventory full. Otherwise it glitches out
