I love how destiny has no story but there's enough story for people to write fan fictions create moves and have whole threads speculating on lore. But yeah there's no story guys

Nice cinematic cut scenes make games more enjoyable , showing the plot the characters development, makes games better , half a billion dollars and the best cut scene we got was I don't have time to explain why I don't have time to explain with hardly any content in the game except what you read on your phone and the carrot on the stick ( g horn ) is all we get that's ridiculous I don't care what anyone says if you don't like cut scenes that's fine but to say that the story isn't lazy is blasphemous

I hate when the word "ignorant" is tossed around to try and discredit someone. It doesn't prove someone's lack of intelligence and it doesn't make you sound any more intelligent. And yes it is "their" game, no one is arguing you there, but to keep working on "their" game they need the support and money of the consumer meaning I do get a say as to what I'm expecting from the game. If a lot of people share the same belief then bungie will have to comply to a certain extent. If they don't "their" game would lose funding and where would it be. I've seen people who didn't get the season pass just move on to other games after the dlc release.

There isn't story. There is lore. Lots of it In The grimoire but the "story" is so open it might as well be non existent.

No. I'm not arguing semantics. Lore. Is more like back story. But without an actual story. Back story means nothing. But people can create tons of stories from back story. Doesn't mean bungie has created a story in game.

Back story is a 100% more important. It creates the world. The story does nothing but explain for dumb people what's going on

I think my biggest problem with the story or lack of is the fact it feels like there is part of it in the game but other parts (where there should be a cut scene or better narrative) seem to feel like they've been cut/removed. The result is a story that you can't really follow or understand (even with the grimoire) but that you know is there somewhere. It's all a bit sporadic and senseless? + the game play is epic which means you kinda expect an incredible story to make the gameplay even better by meaning a little bit more.
