Alright, honest question from a noob: does Apotheosis Veil compare well to the Praxis Fire, or should I buy it from Xur?
Been rolling over stat gains in my head and I cant figure it out

Joey's right about the veil only being good for crota hard mode but you should know that it is DAMN good for crota hard mode.

Apotheosis veil is only good for the Crota Hard Mode fight. If you're an aggressive sunsinger, I would recommend trying to get HoPF
