Advice for a Newbie
So, I haven't been playing for very long and just got my first character to level 28 and I was wondering about Vault of Glass Normal mode. When would be a good time for me to start going through it? I have an Icebreaker that isn't leveled a whole lot but besides that I don't have any other legendary weapons. Should I wait till I have more legendary weapons or just go for it and hope for the best?

Get a good void heavy weapon and you should be fine. I did my first raid at 28 with a legendary primary, a rare void sniper, and rare heavy machine gun. Just let your team know you haven't done it before, a good group should be willing to teach a newbie. If they aren't, leave and find a different one.

3 RepliesYou should definitely start going through the VoG now. Level 28 will put you in a good place on Normal Mode. It should help you get some better gear as well. If you need to get together a Raid team, you could always try the Recruitment forum or www.destinylfg.net. There are a lot of people out there with plenty of experience that are willing to teach the ins and outs of raiding.
