Yes Bungie, it has been so long that the average guardian doesn't even know what we are referring to.
For those of you that haven't been playing since launch. The Queen Bounties, are those "favours" that The Queen & Prince hint about during your second encounter in the reef. These bounties were based on killing The Fallen in various ways from head shots to walkers and upon completion granted the guardian a token per bounty, those token would give you special Queen Gear when you finished a Queen Mission. It sounds more complicated than it is, bear with me.
The reason these activities were mothballed was due to the limited amount of specific gear pieces, guardians would dismantle their gear surpluses to the tune of 20 ascendant materials per day. With ascendant materials being the major currency for Destiny at the time it wasn't long before the DevTeam removed the ascendant materials from the equation making scrapping Queen items as useful as scrapping Murmurs. I still have The Supremacy (Queen Sniper) to this day!
My argument is this...
Seeing as ascendant materials are now a dime a dozen. What is keeping Queen Bounties under wraps?
And
With the Queen Raid just around the corner, would Queen Bounties not be the best possible precursor to upcoming events?
Bungie, some of us can still recall the mockery that was the first Iron Banner. LOL. Why have you not worked out a way for QB's to make a triumphant return to The Tower? Or like the Gjallarhorn, were the QB's a gift presented only to the very first of us, never to return?

I have been thinking the same thing for a long time now. When the Queen first came with her bounties I was really impressed with Desitny. I though, "finally a game that doesn't cater to the PvP crowd" The queens bounties were a way to get to the highest lvl without having to do the Iron Banner. Since a lot of people out there don't have groups of 6 people to do the raid every week, the Queen's Bounties are a fair way for them to get closer to the highest lvl. And for those who might be less skilled, it was an easier way to reach the same lvl. I always try to help out people who don't have a clue what to do in Destiny and might not be as skilled as some, so why doesn't Bungie do the same? Those same people can't earn points in the Iron Banner, and a lot of us HATE PvP anyway. Bring back the Queen's Bounties and give everyone a fair chance. And at the same time, give us PvE people something different to do.
